Kimberly Schell is a PhD student at the Translational and Clinical Research Institute (TCRI), Newcastle University. The aim of her research project is to find serum biomarkers to determine response to Extracorporeal Photopheresis (ECP) therapy in patients with Graft versus Host Disease (GvHD). She is keen on elucidating the mechanism behind ECP therapy and finding prognostic and diagnostic biomarkers in extracellular vesicles (EV) derived from serum.
