Celebrating 30 years of ECP at EBMT 2024

For those attending the EBMT Annual meeting in Glasgow this year, the GvHD Hub are hosting a dedicated interactive symposium to celebrate ‘30 years of ECP in GvHD: Recommendations for the treatment of cGvHD’.

The session will run on Sunday 14th April from 16:30 – 18:00, where the Scientific Education Support team will be present, alongside scientific experts from the field.

Led by chair of the GvHD Hub Steering Committee, Mohamad Mohty, and including steering committee members Bipin Savani, Florent Malard, and Zinaida Peric, the symposium promises to be a captivating journey through the evolution of ECP in GvHD. For 30 years, ECP has been essential for managing complications arising from hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and this symposium offers a unique opportunity for learners to reflect on its transformative impact.

Topics of discussion will include the long-term burden of GvHD, early interventions, and ECP-based combinations, with learners also given the opportunity to view a case study on ‘ECP for cGVHD: Patient eligibility, treatment optimization, and follow-up’ and to participate in a Q&A session to maximize their learning potential.

The event is an excellent opportunity to benefit from the GvHD Hub’s expertise in a live, engaging and varied session.

We hope all UKPS members attending thoroughly enjoy the symposium!
